The image-based loading process is controlled through a program. A CCD camera captures the profile of the tube end face and locates the center coordinates of the tube. The Z1 and Z2 axes, using the coordinates recognized by the camera, select the tubes individually from the material rack and feed them to the tube cutting machine. This enables fully automated tube loading, where the tubes are identified and selected automatically for feeding to the main machine.
